Sewing III: Persephone Pants // Supply List
Supplies
- Persephone Pants pattern (purchase PDF from Anna Allen and print before class)
- Woven, medium-weight fabric such as canvas or denim
- Different patterns often have different sizing measurements. For a perfect fit, please reference the Persephone Pants size chart to calculate your yardage.
- 45" wide fabric (pants length):
- S - M (sizes 0-14) = 3 yds
- L (sizes 16-20) = 3.25 yds
- 54" wide fabric:
- S - M (sizes 0-14) = 1.75 yds
- L (sizes 16-20) = 3 yds
- Denim sewing machine needle
- Heavy-duty button thread
- Four 5/8" buttons (for sizes 0-16) or five 5/8" buttons (for sizes 18-20)
- Waistband button: one 3/4" or 7/8" button
For this pattern--and any other time you sew--you will also need a complete sewing kit. We stock the best sewing tools + supplies in the shop:
- Dressmaker shears
- Snips
- Pins
- Pincushion
- Tailors chalk and/or water erasable fabric pen or pencil(s); the one you will need depends on the color + texture of your fabric(s)
- 18" transparent sewing ruler
- Seam ripper
- Handsewing needles
- All-purpose sewing thread to match your chosen fabric
