good news: I’ve just posted new sessions of our two most popular jewelry making workshops, taught by our very talented and lovely guest instructor gaffney of gaffney designs. intro to jewelry making begins thu jul 24 and intro to soldering meets thu sep 18. each workshop meets for 2 nights from 7 to 930pm for two weeks. hope to see you in class!

we’ve just added a last-minute session of our ever popular simple alterations workshop monday may 19th from 7-9pm. if you’ve been wanting to learn how to hem by hand an/or on the machine, make simple repairs or adjust the fit of clothing you already own then this is the class for you! no experience necessary and all supplies are included.

over the years I’ve had tons of requests for a workshop that teaches how to make a bathing suit and I’m happy to announce there will be something on the calendar very soon for late may/early june. if you’re interested send us an email and we will contact you with more info as soon as the dates are booked.
Make Workshop offers fine arts, design and craft students the opportunity to intern each season. Interns are involved with all aspects of the studio including assisting during classes, product development and design, marketing endeavors and studio maintenance. Benefits include use of the studio, equipment and free classes. Ideally we look for a 15-20 hour a week commitment for at least 3 months. Interested in applying?
